I hope we will see a change in the coming new year. Change is inevitable, but the question is to what or which direction? I know Abeshas need a change towards forging a UNITARY Ethiopia, with no respect for rights of different nations in the empire. But to their Merdo, the change needed by Oromos is otherwise.
Here is the suggestion from us Oromos on the issue how to live in Unity with Abyssinians, if at all necessary. The whole message sounds: good GURBITINNAA is better than bad GAABICHAA!
Whenever we read Abeshas crying for unity, we need to ask them: before or after liberty? (the mode of question patients ask their doctors). For us Oromos, Unity at the cost of our national Liberty is unthinkable. But after being liberated, we can discuss the issue if we think the benefit of unity is more than its challenge!
Till now we had two relations, which failed to unite us:
- Bad Gaabichaa (symbol for unitary system till 1991), where Oromos suffered under domination of Amharas, and
- Bad Debbalinnet (symbol for federalism from 1991 till now), where Oromos suffered under domination of Tigarus.
Just learning from these two bad experience, here is the priority set up we Oromos want that Abeshas should understand. I think, to put things in priority, we need to live in the future together as follows:
1) in good GAABICHAA, if the marriage is really based on love. As far as I understand, our “marriage” was based on XELEFAA (forced marriage), not on love. That is why the hitherto marriage is rather bad marriage, which definetly will lead to divorce!
2) in good DEBBAALINET, if the “unity” we need is based on free will. As far as I know our hitherto “unity” is a forced unity at gun point, so that it will be lost at gun point!
3) in good GURBITINNAA (symbol for independence longed by oppressed nations), which is better than bad GAABICHAA and bad DEBBAALINET! It is better to live in peace as GOREBET than to fight each other to death by living in one home!
4) If the above three good options fail, the only alternative will be the last: MEGEDAADEL (be devided in clans and kill each other).
It is our all responsibility to avoid this last option and to try to forge one of the first three. I believe the marriage based on love is utopia. Yet optimal solution is UNION based on free will. If these two good options fails, good neighbourhood is better than the bad alternative aka killing each other whereas living in one common home! Can you people crying about YE IMIYE ANDINET agree on this??”
For Oromos to achieve our goal, being organized in two major organisations is mandatory. We need one strong "legal" organization, what ever name we give it, eg ODU (Oromo Democratic Union) which can be the merging result of OFDM with OPC and we need one strong "rebel" organization under the banner of OLF, all fractions of Oromo Liberation movement united. I hope the general will be an integrating figure, not some one who simply denounces the "BOODESSITOOTA"! Let Waaqayoo give him wisdom and bless Oromia!!

Significant losses for Oromo struggle in the year 2008:

Gadaa people started to be smart, to think smart and to act smart in order to be the "smart power of the Horn" as Ms Clinton described the new America!. In order to promote Oromo liberation from Abesha domination system, Oromos should still learn to think globally and act locally. Thinking globally in our case meanse look at the BIG picture of Qabsoo Bilisummaa Oromo, whereas act locally meanse cooperate and coordinate each individual and institutional move of ours to serve the big picture.
Now the formation of OFC (Oromo Federalist Congress) is the big step towards the right direction. I personally blieve that there are genuine Oromos in OPDO striving to keep the hitherto gains of our Qabsoo. Let us encourage them and differentiate them from non-Oromo forces in OPDO, who mainly fight against our Qabsoo. The consolidation of the Oromo opposition under OFC is very timely and mandatory.
Now we need a similar step to be taken by Liberation Fronts (the 3 OLFs, COPLF, FIDO, FIO and UOPLF) to forge similar unity under the beloved and original name OLF. It is non sense to see so many liberation fronts fragmented even though they all do have the same KAAYYO aka Bilisummaa Saba Oromo and Walabummaa Biyya Oromo. I hope these rebel liberation groups learn from OFC and come together to forge only one strong OLF.
Then having genuine Oromos in OPDO (let's call them ODM = Oromo Democratic Movement) as a keeper of the status quo, having OFC as a strong opposition to promote our Qabsoo per ballot and forging only one strong OLF which struggles for our Bilisuimmaa and Walabummaa per bullet is the best we can achieve in our liberation journey. As far as my understanding Kamal galchu is a real Oromo from Arsi(not proponent of Arsi but Oromo) I have got the direction of those stupid WOYANE writers. The writers themselves are either from Woyane or Woyane agent. Take care my Oromo people. Please what I advise you is that don't follow the foot step of those narrow people what ever they did or say. Be your self if you are a man need Unity of oromo in deed. I can say agin that Kamal Galchu is the true flag-waver of Oromo people.The whole oromo should follow him. He is Oromo nationalism activator to shorten the way to Bilisummaa.

Some one may make a mistake but we have a good Oromo culture to ajust each other.so dont kill your time by bellaming each other.we need strong OLF and leaders.our timely question is untiy and a war against EPRDF.ITS THE time!we should take acare on our message all message is not from oromo nationalist.some message come fromEPRDF(TPLF)we now this fake!!death for EPRDF.

Dear Readers,
Kemal was derg soldier who was captured by woyane fighter. After showing his loyalty to woyane he became member of woyane fighter fighting against derg. After the fall of Deg, he still remained in Woyane junta keeping up his loyality to his woyane boss by killing innocent oromo civilian in different parts of Oromia together with the other woyane pupet like baba dulla, baca, kuma, and other dull minded OPDOs. He was strongly opposing the nationalist movement like OLF. He was chasing WBO/Oromo liberation Army in east, west and southern jungle of Oromia heading heavily armed woyane army. For his excellent doing against his people, he appointed highest military rank from Woyane. So, he is among those who are responsible for human right violation against oromo people. This empty minded man after serving the dictatorial regime for so long time defected and joined OLF camp that he was opposing and trying to abolish. Well, the OLF executive committee give him excuse. For me that was okay. But they are wrong in including him in executive committee. Look he use the woyane strategy and disintigrate the OLF and its army into parts. This is the out come of Kemal. I am still worried of his mission. You better back home and plough your plots of land/help your father. People like Kemal has no moral support to lead the oromo national movement like OLF. No need to waste his time he will not get follower.

Unless some one lose their mind,there is no way a normal human being surrenders to tyrant Meles Zenawi at this time.Regarding the surrenderees,Abbabya is in trouble now.We hear that his security guard and a driver with a car is taken away from him.Soon they the Wayannes are going to make him homeless by taking away his appartment from him.So,please do not discourage those who are on the way to surrender to the tyrant to be trushed later after they are used.Any way this is how the field of opposition clears up.Don't even argue about this.Thanks.
